Working on set
- on bigger sets: make sure you have one central contact on set who is the main/only connection that passes changes on to the brainbar team
- Communicate early what you can change during a shoot
- Always give and ask for estimates how long a certain task takes
Preparation
- Test, test, test
- Make yourself comfortable with the medium
- Learn the limitations of the medium (good start is to read this page!). While Virtual Production/ICVFX is awesome, it is not the best choice for every scenario
- Do techviz
- Spend some time VR scouting to get comfortable with the size of the stage
